How to Setup Deepseek to run Locally on Mac

1. Download Ollama

2. Install Ollama

3. Go to Ollama Models and download the Deepseek R1 Model – whichever size you want

4. Start Ollama in your Terminal

Use this command in your Ollama prompt on Terminal ollama run deepseek-r1
